MOGADOR / ESSAOUIRA
Mogador was the name of this town when a few hundred years ago it was a Portuguese colony. The Moroccan (Arabic) name now is Essaouira. It is a small fishing town on the Atlantic coast with 70,000 inhabitants (2010), lots of charm, and well known for its beaches, wind and kite surfing, climate, spices, music festivals, unique wood work, seafood and culture.

When Gary Player designed the course and the practice facilities it was highlighted from the very beginning as “a pearl” in world golf. It is a new 36-hole (at the moment 27 holes, with an additional 9 used for training) establishment with very good training facilities. Its extremely relaxed atmosphere makes it to a perfect place for learning and practicing. It has already been awarded as one of the best new 20 golf resorts in the world by World of Golf.
FLIGHTS & TRANSFER
Direct flights from all over Europe to Marrakesh airport in Morocco. The transfer time to Essaouira is two hours by coach/taxi (new motorway). Helicopter transfer is 45 minutes and it lands on the Heliport on the golf course, near the new Hotel.
6 - 7 parking's for Private Jets
Essaouira also has its own new international airport with more than 2300 meter runway. At high season there are direct flights with Airlines from Paris every week.
The airport can host parking for 6-7 private Jets. Jet fuel A1 and handling is available. The ICAO code: GMMI and the IATA code: ESU. Airport transfers and can be arranged with “your” hotel upon room reservation.Transfer time to the golf is 12 minutes.
